I’m a hands-on leader who creates sustainable change. I’ve helped small teams design their ways of working and led 10,000+ person organizations in adopting new strategies and structures.
I’ve led global strategy execution and technology teams for fifteen years, and bring lessons to clients as an advisor, change maker and interim executive. I’ve built a deep understanding of people, product and strategy.
My story (the short version)
I started my technical career as a project manager with a theatre degree (I use that theatre education every day!) and I’ve been, among other things, a people leader, an artist, a change leader, a technology executive, a coach and a product manager. More than roles, I’ve always been attracted to interesting problems to solve, with and for people who really care about others’ needs.
All of these experiences add up to one thing: I can work truly end-to end. I can help you visualize what the future looks like, I can quickly figure out how to get from where you are today to where you want to be in the future, and I can do the hands-on work to get you there.
What I do best
Some of the skills I like using most:
- Strategy development and hands-on organizational transformation
- Coaching change leaders, helping you navigate and sustain change
- Leading technology innovation, operations and management
- Designing and supporting intentional, effective and enjoyable teams
- Supporting and advocating for sustainable, human-centered design
I’m constantly learning, and I’m currently working on:
- Next economy approaches to technology, including free and open source software
- What’s next for accessibility and inclusivity, especially when it comes to things like government services
- How we design for people and the planet, beyond ESG into truly sustainable and regenerative management
- What it means to be responsible technologists in an increasingly AI and data-led world
